Introduction

Frog Team AI ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Vibrant Frog Collab mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

By using Vibrant Frog Collab, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide:

• API Keys: You may provide API keys for third-party AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic). These keys are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
• Google OAuth: If you use Google Gemini, you authenticate via Google OAuth. We do not receive or store your Google password. OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device.
• Documents and Content: Any documents, text, or images you create or import are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to your personal iCloud account.
• Photos: If you use the handwriting scan feature or quote image creator, photos are processed locally or sent directly to your chosen AI provider.

Information We Do NOT Collect:

• We do not collect personal identification information
• We do not collect usage analytics or tracking data
• We do not have servers that store your content
• We do not collect or store your AI provider API keys or OAuth tokens on any external servers

How Your Data is Used

All data processing occurs locally on your device or is transmitted directly to your chosen third-party AI provider:

• Local Processing: Document editing, storage, and organization happen entirely on your device.
• AI Provider Communication: When you use AI features, your content is sent directly from your device to the AI provider you've configured (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google). We do not intercept, store, or have access to this communication.
• Google OAuth: When using Google Gemini, authentication occurs directly between your device and Google's servers. We only receive an access token that allows the app to make API requests on your behalf.

Google User Data

When you connect your Google account to use Google Gemini AI features, the following applies:

Permissions Requested:

• Access to the Generative Language API Semantic Retriever - to use Google Gemini AI features for text generation and chat
• See your primary Google Account email address - to identify your account within the app
• See your basic profile info - required by Google's authentication process

We only use these permissions to enable AI features and identify your account. We do not access, store, or use your personal information for any other purpose.

Data Sharing:

• We do not share, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties
• Your Google OAuth tokens are stored only on your local device
• Content you send to Google Gemini goes directly from your device to Google's servers - we do not intercept, log, or store this data
• We do not sell, rent, or monetize your Google user data in any way

Data Retention and Deletion:

• Google OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device only for the duration you remain signed in
• You can delete your Google authentication data at any time by signing out of Google within the app's Settings
• You can revoke the app's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions
• Upon sign-out or revocation, all locally stored Google tokens are immediately deleted from your device
• We do not retain any Google user data on external servers as we do not operate data collection servers

Third-Party Services

Vibrant Frog Collab integrates with third-party AI services. When you use these services, your data is subject to their respective privacy policies:

• OpenAI Privacy Policy
• Anthropic Privacy Policy
• Google Privacy Policy

We encourage you to review these policies to understand how your data is handled by each provider.

Data Storage and Security

• All your documents and settings are stored locally on your iOS device.
• API keys and OAuth tokens are stored securely using iOS Keychain or secure local storage.
• You can revoke Google OAuth access at any time through your Google Account settings.
• We recommend using device passcode/biometric protection for additional security.
• Data may be included in your iCloud backups if you have iCloud backup enabled on your device.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud Sync, your projects, custom prompts, and document metadata are synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This data is:

• Stored in your private iCloud database, which only you can access
• Not accessible to Frog Team AI or any third parties
• Subject to Apple's privacy practices and your iCloud storage terms
• Encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple

You can disable iCloud Sync at any time in the app's Settings. Disabling sync will not delete data already synced to your iCloud account. To delete synced data, you can manage your iCloud storage through your device's Settings app.

Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
